How 7×19 delivered this Indoor High Ropes Course
Concept Design
Whilst this is the fourth indoor aerial adventure 7×19 has designed and installed for Jump Yard, it’s never simply a repeat of the previous job. Each building brings its own unique structure to the table, meaning we started, almost from scratch, with a concept drawing based on the space but also taking into account;
- Target audience
- Likely structural restrictions
- Supervision levels
- Course throughput
Having worked with the team at Jump Yard to refine the concept and create an outline budget for the project we then move to the technical bit.

Technical Design
7×19 collaborates with a trusted set of partners to work on the structural and course engineering to ensure the concept can be brought to reality safely.
Once this is done, we have a final set of technical drawings, a confirmed cost and a project plan. This project required coordination with the wider development and installation of climbing walls, zip coaster and of course the trampolines to make the process of creating the Jump Yard experience as quick and smooth as possible, so they can open the venue to start generating income!
Manufacturing and Construction
7×19 aims to pre-fabricate as much as we can in our project hub here in North Wales, and this project was no different. Experience tells us the more we can do in the controlled environment of the workshop, the better the result for the client in terms of both quality and cost.
All the course elements are built and packed for shipping, along with the steel elements.
Everything is double checked and loaded to make its way to the site with all the relevant paperwork in place to ensure a smooth journey into the EU.
On site, the team arrives to unload the materials, get set up and start the work of bringing the project to life inside the venue.
This was a reasonably straightforward build as we were working in an empty room, meaning a quick install time followed by testing, creating the manual and an inaugural inspection from an independent inspection company to check everything is safe and ready.
Project Completion
Another happy customer with an operational course, built on schedule, to ensure the other contractors can complete the rest of the build to get the venue open as quickly as possible.
