The ultimate development activity

Our 7×19 Developmental range offers a collection of proven, learning-based activities that can be configured to suit your space. These can be installed inside existing buildings or outside in trees or on purpose-built steel work for a robust long-lasting ropes course. These configurations are often referred to as linear ropes courses.

Some of the most popular elements we install are:

Jacobs Ladder – A series of logs suspended in a ladder formation, but with a twist as the rungs get further apart as you climb higher. This element encourages teamwork as groups scale the ladder together.
Gladiator Challenge – Several individual challenges using scramble nets, ropes, beams and tyres, testing the participants as they scale two at a time.
Crate Stacking – Between 1 – 4 participants work together to build a tower from crates to get as high as they can before the tower crashes to the ground leaving them suspended in the air.
Leap or Trapeze – Participants climb to a platform then leap to either strike a hanging target or catch the trapeze bar.
High All Aboard – The ultimate test of teamwork as four participants attempt to balance on a small platform in the air—requiring peak cooperation and balance.

All elements can be tailored to ensure they are suitable for a specific age range or ability.

Our Approach

We custom design every developmental installation, working closely with you to understand your space and your objectives for the activity. Most of the 7×19 team started their outdoor careers working at residential centres, so understand how important outcomes are, alongside keeping your operation running smoothly. We aim to maximise the learning potential, ensuring they meet your requirements.

Technical Information for Developmental Courses

Everything we do complies with the EN Standard for Ropes Course Construction EN:15567. Our costs will always include the fee for an independent inaugural inspection carried out by a third party.

Installation is carried out by our highly trained and competent team backed up by our highly experienced management team with extensive knowledge in operations, construction and health and safety.

Our designs are rooted in minimal maintenance requirements and safe access for inspections.

Our default material for the main structure on our projects is galvanised steel for a robust and long lasting course, if this doesn’t work for your venue, talk to us and we’ll find the right solution.

Our proposal documents will clearly state what is included. We’ll do our best to understand your requirements leading up to this point so there won’t be any surprises.
