About Us

Who are we?

We are a team of industry experts with over 20 years adventure industry experience spanning across 15 countries. It’s safe to say we’ve been around the block (wearing a helmet and harness at all times no doubt!).

From being part of the first ever ERCA certified ropes course in the UK to managing one of the highest throughput giant zip wires in the world, we’re proud to say we’ve helped build and deliver epic adventure activities globally.

The 7x19 team are all passionate adventurers, it truly runs in our veins. We’re a hard-working bunch of can-do’ers, with skills spanning everything from construction, site operation and safety inspections to engineering, staff training and business consultancy.

What is it like to work with us?

We’re very much a roll-up-our-sleeves-and-get-stuck-in type of people, working together with our clients to deliver great results. Our extensive experience in the adventure sector means we have the skills and expertise to work in partnership with you to create the perfect product that meets your needs whilst always adhering to the highest of safety standards. Our practical skills are matched by our excellent administration and ability to communicate. We promise there will be a seamless flow of communication from start to finish to ensure you are kept thoroughly up to date with the progress of your project.

Adventure and safety sit at the heart of everything we do. So whether you’re looking to update your educational facilities or build a unique tourist attraction we’re here to support you along the journey from start to finish.

We want to be your most valued business partner; we’ll constantly work hard to deliver maximum value back to your business, brand and ultimately, your customers’ experience.

How do we do it?

Before we do anything, we listen to you...

We listen to your objectives

Before we can help and advise on the appropriate activity for you, first we listen and understand your requirements. This initial meeting can usually be completed via a phone or video call. From this we can give you some idea of what activity could work for you and outline cost. We can then proceed to an on-site review to gather all the information required to provide a bespoke concept.

We provide solutions

In this stage we put our considerable experience together and produce you an outline concept and a detailed proposal of works for your new adventure. Typically we give an overview of the adventure, pricing and a breakdown of what is included and what is not included, which leaves you with no surprises at the end. Depending on the type of project, we can you give a range of options and costs, with final costs being confirmed once the full engineering study and design has been completed.

Building a relationship

With the proposal agreed we move to both parties signing our order confirmation and detailed contract of works. We believe good fences make good neighbours, so this ensures everyone knows exactly what has been agreed and what is expected. This is supported with a first instalment for the project and now our creative team can really get started, with design, engineering and procurement.

We build Adventure

We bring the idea to life with military precision. Our on site project teams are dedicated to creating the most amazing activity and will work harmoniously with you and any stakeholders to ensure we have as little impact as possible on your business as usual which means you can concentrate on your business. Our project managers will communicate with you throughout and we lead by example with our safety always approach.

Your Aftercare service begins

Once you are our client we consider ourselves partners in your business and we are there to support you after the project is complete. All projects include an aftercare visit, usually between 2-4 months from first use. This gives us the opportunity to meet again and ensure everything is going as planned, inspect the course and make any adjustments. We are also able to provide on-going inspections, maintenance and support packages to help keep your adventure in tip top condition.

Get in touch to find out more

If you like the look of our products and how we work then please do get in touch. We’re a friendly bunch. No matter what stage of the journey you’re at we are happy to have a chat on the phone or over email. We’ll offer some no obligation advice and hope we can become one of your trusted partners in the near future.

ERCA

The European Ropes Course Association (ERCA) includes instructors, rescuers, trainers, builders and inspectors of ropes courses as well as organisations operating temporary ropes courses. ERCA update and optimise existing ERCA standards relating to construction, inspection, training and operation of ropes courses. ERCA is the basis for exchange of knowledge, safety research and quality improvement.

AAIAC

The Adventure Activities Industry Advisory Committee (AAIAC), is the sector’s lead body for safety in adventure activities. It is representative of a wide range of stakeholders from the UK adventure activities sector and is supported by the Institute for Outdoor Learning.

Our Name

We chose a name that is closely linked to our technical roots. 7x19 represents the construction of wire rope, 7 strands of 19 wires, which has been used widely in the ropes course industry. Our logo represents a cross section of the cable.

"Over the last ten years, Chris has successfully delivered a number projects on time, on budget and always meeting our guests’ expectations. I would have no hesitation using his services in the future."

Paul Kenwright, PGL
